On April 26-29, 2017 specialists from the Swedish National Administration for Cartography, Cadastre and Land Registration of Lantmatriet to the National Cadastre Agency of the State Property Committee of the Republic of Belarus
The visit is a continuation of long-term cooperation between the National Cadastral Agency of the State Property Committee of the Republic of Belarus and Lantmatriet (Sweden). Within the framework of the project on improving the system of land resources management and urban development in the Republic of Belarus, Belarusian and Swedish experts will exchange experience in the field of geoinformation systems (GIS).
Within the framework of this visit, the directions of application of geoinformation systems in the projects and works of the National Cadastral Agency of the State Property Committee of the Republic of Belarus will be discussed. Also, Swedish experts will get acquainted with a multi-level distributed regional geoinformation system for solving problems of monitoring the condition of territories and objects, phenomena and processes based on complex remote sensing data (MPR-GIS) developed by specialists of the National Cadastral Agency of the State Property Committee of the Republic of Belarus. On April 26, Belarusian and Swedish experts will discuss the following range of issues: the need and sufficiency of spatial data of the land cadastre of the Republic of Belarus; Geoinformation systems of Sweden (scope of application); Use of GIS-technologies in the pilot project and in mass evaluation; GIS-technology in the modernization of software of the land value register; GIS in mass and individual evaluation, methods of spatial data analysis; Spatial data (sources, processing, data modification, archiving system, integrity, quality).
Also within the framework of this visit on April 27 there will be a seminar "Geoinformation systems in land and city administration". The seminar will discuss the need to use and integrate GIS technologies into land administration processes, discuss the "INSPIRE" Directive, ways and methods of creating a single geospatial database on a city and country scale.
The visit will end on April 28. On this day, the following topical issues in the field of GIS will be discussed: the development of an automated information system for the maintenance of the Real Estate Register (development and implementation of a spatial data bank, the integration of spatial data on real estate into a new version of the AIS); "New" in GIS in Sweden, international experience, interaction and information exchange with other countries; Multi-level distributed regional GIS on the basis of spatial data of State Unitary Enterprise "National Cadastre Agency". The visit of Swedish specialists to Minsk will be completed with a roundtable discussion of ideas, opinions and experience, as well as summing up results for 2016 and plans for 2017.
