Representatives of Belarus in the UNECE Working Party on Land Administration (WPLA) will discuss approaches to improving land use and issues of sustainable development and urban planning for the period up to 2030

March 8-9, 2017 in Geneva (Switzerland), with the support of the UNECE secretariat, is the 10th session of the Working Party on Land Administration (WPLA). Traditionally, the Republic of Belarus in the work of sessions and sessions of the Committee on Housing and Land Management UNECE are represented by the staff of the State Property Committee. 


The Committee on Housing and Land Management is an intergovernmental body representing UNECE member States. Its main mission is to solve the problems of the regions in the field of housing and land use by evaluating national housing systems. The Working Group on Land Administration provides an international high-level workspace for interstate exchange of information on issues related to land management and land use. 


During the current meeting, its participants will review the work of the Working Group since the 9th session, discuss further work to improve the approach to land use and land management across the region, and will elect the WPLA Bureau. Another goal of the work of the 10th session of the WPLA Working Group is the inclusion in the Agenda for the period until 2030 and the New Agenda for Urban Planning of the needs and priorities for land administration in the UNECE region. 


In the session from the Belarusian side take part: the chief engineer of the UE "Project Institute Belgiprozem" Nikolai Bober;Tatyana Lushchyk is the head of the department of contractual and personnel work of the State Unitary Enterprise "National Cadastre Agency" and Marina Litreyeva, the head of the Geoinformation Systems Department of the State Unitary Enterprise "National Cadastre Agency".
