The annual forum of the European Subcommittee
of the International Association of Geodesy takes place in Amsterdam (the
Kingdom of the Netherlands) from 30 May to 1 June 2018. About 100 specialists
in geodetic infrastructure development from 30 countries visited the annual
forum of the European Subcommittee of the International Association of Geodesy.
Sergey Zabagonsky, the director of the
Belgeodesy enterprise in the system of the State Property Committee and Nadezhda
Rudnitskaya, Head of the Department of formation and maintenance of geodetic
data base of the enterprise, candidate of technical sciences, represented
Belarus at the symposium.
The EUREF Symposium is an excellent platform
for experts from Europe to discuss not only the problems of modern geodesy, but
also the adoption of common coordinating solutions ensuring the creation of a
high-precision homogeneous coordinate space on the continent.
The program of the forum allows to obtain modern scientific information in the establishment of reference systems and heights in countries leading in modern geodesy.
The symposium participants will exchange national groundwork in creation and maintenance of modern geodetic infrastructure, as well as experience in establishing reference systems and heights.
The report on the state and prospects of the development of the national geodetic infrastructure in the Republic of Belarus will be presented to the symposium participants.
