The basic rental value in Belarus from April 1, 2017 will be 15 rubles 20 kopecks

 The change in the size of the basic rental value is stipulated by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of March 7, 2017 No. 182.

The document was adopted in accordance with subparagraph 2.1 of clause 2 of the decree dated March 29, 2012, No. 150 "On some issues of renting and gratuitous use of property" and comes into force on April 1, 2017. Resolution of the Council of Ministers of March 17, 2016 No. 208 "On determining the size of the basic rental value" is recognized as invalid.

The size of the basic rental value is fixed annually
Taking into account the change in the consumer price index for the previous year in relation to the previous year.

The basic rental value is used in calculating the rent for the area owned by the state, as well as in the ownership of business companies in the authorized capital of which more than 50% of the shares (shares) are owned by Belarus and (or) its administrative and territorial units, and Also capital buildings (buildings, constructions), isolated premises, car places, their parts, including capital buildings (buildings, constructions), isolated premises, parts thereof in markets and shopping centers.
